Registered Dental Hygienist

Kristin Silcox graduated from the University of Pittsburgh: School of Dental Medicine after receiving her Bachelor's of Science degree concentrated in research.

Kristin has a unique warmth and ability to develop rapport that create a relaxed atmosphere for the patient. Kristin was drawn to the dental field after going through a traumatic event as a child. As many other people, growing up Kristin had severe anxiety of dentists and needles. One day in middle school, she fell and broke a front tooth. After a humiliating day of being ridiculed and made fun of at school, a close family friend who was a hygienist got a chance to examine the damage. Her brother-in-law just happened to be a dentist with an office in the area so she contacted him and they opened the office for some late-night dentistry. Through all the tears and panic, they eased her anxiety and fixed the tooth! The whole experience really opened her eyes to how important having a beautiful smile is and inspired her to want to provide that same quality of care for others. She loves making patients feel comfortable in the chair and help them feel better about their smiles.

Kristin is an active member in the ADHA, PDHA, and MBDHA where she is always striving to further her dental knowledge by attending continuing education courses. Kristin stays on top of new advancements in the dental field to provide the best care for her patients. Kristin has a genuine passion for what she does and wants to share that passion with patients to create life-long habits of proper oral hygiene.

When Kristin is not at the office, she's spending time with her family and loving boyfriend in North Wales. She enjoys camping, concerts, cooking, and traveling to see her brother in Chicago.
